First, open notepad
Second, type the command like below.
del C:\Windows\Prefetch\*.*/q
Third, save with a *. bat extension (eg prefetch.bat) on the directory we want.
Fourth, open the group policy editor (gpedit.msc) by clicking Start>> Run>> type "gpedit.msc" (without quotation marks) and press ENTER or OK until the window pops up group policy editor.
Fifth, and then click Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Scripts (Startup / Shutdown)
Sixth, on the right hand column select (double click) on the Shutdown window pops up like below.
Seventh, click Add and then will appear a window like below.
Eighth, in the Script Name click browse and point to the folder or directory where we store the new file we created earlier.
Ninth, if it has been found click Open and then click OK ("Scripts" Parameters emptied only).
Tenth, click Apply and / or OK.
Now try to restart the computer and then check the directory C:\Windows\Prefetch\ and make sure the files *.pf it was clean.
